Explore the Shoreline Restoration Plan

The Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC), in coordination with the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), the Chicago Park District, Alderman Gregory Mitchell, Milhouse Engineering and Construction, and WSP USA — is leading a feasibility study and framework plan for the protection of the Lake Michigan shoreline between 71st Street and 75th Street.

They hosted a community meeting where the project team shared the latest updates on efforts to evaluate potential improvements to the Lake Michigan shoreline in this area.
