The Lebanon County Planning Department, supporting the LEBCO MPO (Lebanon County Metropolitan Planning Organization), has partnered with WSP to conduct a transportation study of the Route 72 and Cornwall Road corridors between Oak Street in Lebanon and Route 419 in Cornwall/West Cornwall.
Route 72 is a north-south principal arterial linking Lebanon to Lancaster and the Pennsylvania Turnpike, while Cornwall Road runs parallel carrying local and regional traffic. Both corridors are experiencing growth, congestion, and safety challenges.

The planning team is excited to share our progress and improvement ideas and are looking for your feedback prior to finalizing the study. Further discussions are being held with elected officials, the local municipalities, and the stakeholder committee. A final report will be produced and will include a complete overview and recommendations for both corridors.
