Help Shape Mercer County’s Transportation Future
Mercer County is updating its Mobility Element to create a safer, more connected transportation system for everyone. Your input matters!
Mercer County is updating its Mobility Element, originally adopted in 2010 and revised in 2016, to reflect changes in transportation and land use. The new plan, titled Mercer in Motion, aims to:
Provide long-term, holistic transportation planning guidance.
Support an efficient, safe, accessible, and sustainable multimodal system.
Integrate existing Mercer County plans and policies: 2010 Mobility Plan, 2020 Bicycle Master Plan, Complete Streets and Vision Zero Policies, 2024 Land Development Ordinance.
The update emphasizes equity and connectivity for all residents, visitors, and workers, regardless of age or ability, and supports both local and regional mobility.
