This survey is seeking public input in the selection process of a Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA). The proposed LPA study route runs along the current TARTA Fixed Route 2. We want to hear about which routes and amenities are most important to your daily needs. Two additional connections are being considered for inclusion. One connects the University of Toledo and the other connects the Vistula neighborhood and the Glass City Riverwalk/MetroPark area.

Bus Rapid Transit systems can also include several customizable features to improve the customer experience. These include features found at the stations and near the stations.

Once the final route and features are determined, the LPA will be recommended to the area Council of Governments (TMACOG) for development as a Rapid Transit Corridor (BRT system). Then funding at the local, state and federal level can be sought. This process of developing and constructing a Rapid Transit system usually takes 5-10 years.
